Job Requirements

• 3 years of recent PCU RN experience in a busy Level I Trauma setting
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Recent cardiac drip experience required
• Ability and willingness to float to like units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and progressive-level monitoring
• Document patient care accurately using Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
• Deliver compassionate, efficient care during night and weekend shifts
