Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Vascular Surgeon
• Location: Findlay, Ohio
• Setting: Inpatient consults, emergency department consults, rounding, and call coverage
• Schedule: Monthly coverage with options for 1 week per month or 2 weekends per month
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating coverage
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: As soon as available
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,870 - $6,950

Job Requirements

• Board Certification required
• Active Ohio medical license required
• At least 1 year of vascular surgery experience required
• Ability to perform the vascular procedures required for the role
• Experience with inpatient and ED vascular consults
• Current malpractice coverage in good standing
• Case logs from the last 2 years required at presentation
• Local candidates highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage for urgent and emergent vascular cases
• Round on inpatients as needed
• Respond to ED and inpatient vascular surgery consults
• Perform urgent or emergent vascular procedures when called in
• Collaborate with the OR team and support staff to ensure seamless coverage
• Help cover scheduled time off for the employed vascular surgeon
