• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required; neonatal nursing or NICU experience preferred
• Experience in SCN, Special Care Nursery, or NICU settings preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current STABLE certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and newborn care skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to newborns in the nursery setting
• Monitor infant status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Support families with education and newborn care guidance
• Collaborate with neonatal providers, nurses, and the care team to promote positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using the unit’s charting system
• Follow established clinical protocols and unit procedures
• Deliver high-quality care in a busy nursery environment with teamwork and professionalism
