Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire RN license required, or eligibility to obtain one
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Clinical experience in Emergency Room, Emergency Department, or acute care settings preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and patient safety skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Room / Emergency Department setting
• Complete patient assessments on admission, including vital signs, medical history, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic testing
• Assist with the planning and implementation of individualized care plans under physician direction
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with nursing standards
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
• Promote patient safety while delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care
• Collaborate positively with team members and adapt to the fast pace of the ER environment
