Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,520 - $1,640
• Setting: Busy radiology department with 24/7 coverage
• Location: Brownsville, TX
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Weekend coverage may be required depending on the assigned shift
• Equipment/Systems: GE equipment and Meditech EMR
• Work Environment: Team-oriented department with varied patient volume

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of Radiologic Technologist or Rad Tech experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ARRT registry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume diagnostic imaging department
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Experience with diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and OR, preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of radiology procedures in support of quality patient care
• Provide imaging coverage in a busy radiology department serving patients around the clock
• Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately while following departmental protocols
• Deliver excellent patient service with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
• Assist with procedures across diagnostic imaging, including fluoroscopy and OR cases as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while supporting workflow needs
