Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy emergency care setting
• Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• Experience with rapid assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making in acute care nursing

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely, effective treatment
• Respond to a wide range of emergency situations with professionalism and composure
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established nursing standards and unit policies
• Deliver compassionate care while adapting to changing patient needs and department flow
• Support a fast-paced hospital environment and contribute to positive patient outcomes
