Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced acute care and high-acuity environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with charge nurses, RNs, techs, and support staff
• Comfort with EMR documentation and emergency care workflows
• Positive, active, and personable approach to patient care and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation support, EKGs, and related emergency procedures
• Assess, monitor, and prioritize patients according to acuity and clinical need
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver efficient, compassionate, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergent situations
• Support a safe, organized, and positive unit environment
