Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010-$1,090
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Setting: Hospital sterile processing / surgical services
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Location: Wichita Falls, TX 76301
• Work Environment: On-site travel assignment

Job Requirements

• 5 years of sterile processing experience preferred; will consider less if strong travel experience
• Certification in sterile processing or central sterile services preferred, such as CRCST, CBSPD, or HSPA/IAHCSMM
• Experience with acute hospital OR workflows, aseptic technique, decontamination, and instrument processing
• Strong knowledge of tray assembly, proper wrapping, sterilization testing and monitoring, and scope reprocessing
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting serving pediatric through geriatric patient populations
• EPIC experience preferred
• Must be able to complete required onboarding and credentialing items in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Prepare trays and sets accurately using preference cards and proper labeling procedures
• Support daily sterile processing operations to keep surgical services running efficiently
• Follow infection prevention standards, aseptic technique, and hospital policies
• Operate washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and related processing equipment
• Perform high-level disinfection and scope/probe reprocessing as needed
• Maintain quality control through biological, chemical, and sterilization monitoring processes
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure timely, accurate instrument availability
