Job Details
- Position: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) / Visit Nurse
- Location: Port Angeles, WA 98362 | Olympic Peninsula | Near Sequim, Washington
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Day shift, weekends and holidays as needed
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Shifts Per Week: 5x8 schedule
- Hours Per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,210 - $2,320
- Setting: Home Health / Post-Acute Care
- Charting System: EPIC
Job Requirements
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in home health, acute care, or long-term care
- Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Valid Washington driver's license
- Proof of insurance for the vehicle used for work
- Reliable automobile transportation for patient visits
- Cell phone with activated voicemail and access to internet connectivity
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under general supervision
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing visits in patients' residences as part of a coordinated home health care plan
- Deliver care as delegated by the Case Manager RN while supporting continuity of care
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates, recommendations, and physician orders
- Plan and prepare for follow-up visits based on patient needs and care goals
- Apply nursing principles and sound clinical judgment in complex home care situations
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies
