Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• PACU experience preferred; ICU or ED experience also helpful
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Comfortable using Epic charting software
• Ability to support evening shifts and scheduled weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care for recovering patients in a PACU setting
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress
• Support patients who may require higher-acuity monitoring, including occasional ICU-level recoveries
• Collaborate with the surgical and acute care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a dynamic surgical recovery environment
