MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification/licensure with MRI advanced licensure required
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel healthcare experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to provide complete work history and explain employment gaps over 90 days
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with department protocols and safety standards
• Prepare patients for imaging and explain procedures clearly to support comfort and understanding
• Operate MRI equipment effectively while producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and imaging staff to support efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility workflow requirements
• Adapt to weekend coverage and schedule changes as needed to support the unit
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-focused imaging environment
