Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
• MR advanced licensure required
• Philips MRI equipment experience required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Prior travel radiology experience preferred
• Must be flexible with scheduling, including every other weekend or adjusted weekend coverage as needed
• Reliable transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit access in the Burlington, Vermont area

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations safely and efficiently in a hospital imaging setting
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout the exam
• Operate MRI equipment while following established imaging protocols and safety standards
• Verify patient history, screening information, and exam readiness before imaging
• Document patient care and imaging workflow accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely patient throughput
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused work environment
• Adapt to unit needs and maintain flexibility for weekend coverage as scheduled
