Job Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Experience supporting adult med/surg patients preferred
• Ability to provide 2 current references from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager
• Updated resume with work history and any employment gaps clearly explained
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Flexibility to float to another unit as needed
• Ability to maintain a maximum of 5 days of requested time off

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate hands-on patient care in a busy hospital adult care environment
• Support patients with activities of daily living, mobility assistance, hygiene, and comfort measures
• Assist the nursing team with routine patient care and help ensure a positive patient experience
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Provide care for patients with general surgery, respiratory failure, cellulitis, and other adult medical needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment
• Support floating assignments when needed across the healthcare unit
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality care
