• Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days (09:30 - 18:00)
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of registered nurse experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Recent ambulatory surgery, PACU, or Phase II recovery experience within the past 2 years
• Experience with EPIC charting
• Strong assessment, coordination, and patient education skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate post-anesthesia care and perioperative nursing support
• Assess patients, coordinate care, and evaluate outcomes throughout the recovery process
• Deliver individualized, holistic nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations, discharge instructions, and transitions of care
• Support timely communication between the care team and other hospital departments
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established clinical protocols
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing PACU environment focused on quality patient care
