• Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 - $1,310
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected
• Location: Berlin, VT 05602 – scenic Vermont healthcare setting with a peaceful small-town feel and access to outdoor recreation

Job Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of CNA experience required
• Prior travel nursing assistant or travel CNA experience required
• Long-term care and rehabilitation experience required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Comfortable providing care for residents with dementia
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended for this Berlin, VT area
• Ability to work assigned shifts consistently and meet schedule expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, hygiene, and comfort needs
• Support residents with dementia using patience, respect, and clear communication
• Observe, document, and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment
• Float to other units as assigned to help meet resident care needs
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote quality outcomes and resident well-being
