• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Mixed weekday OR schedule with 8- and 12-hour shifts
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750-$2,890

Job Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Trauma OR / Operating Room setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience supporting pre-op, recovery, PACU, OR, and SDS care preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, high-acuity surgical environment
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent teamwork skills
• CMP required within 1 year of start date for applicable roles

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Support a broad range of surgical cases, including trauma, neurosurgery, robotics, urology, vascular, open-heart, general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout the surgical episode
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective outcomes
• Maintain a calm, focused approach in a fast-paced, high-volume OR environment
• Use strong critical thinking and technical skills to meet patient and unit needs
• Deliver compassionate patient care while supporting patients and families through the surgical experience
