Job Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license required prior to start
• 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Prior travel nurse assignment experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to pass a telemetry competency exam, including rhythm strip identification and measurement
• Experience caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional additional shifts as needed
• Flexibility to float within competency based on department needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care as a Registered Nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Support patients and families through clear communication, education, and bedside care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote optimal outcomes
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and professional nursing practice
• Float to other areas within competency when required
