• Schedule: Weekend nights (2 of 3) plus some weekday nights
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,100 - $1,180
• On Call: None
• Holiday Coverage: Thanksgiving
• Floating: May float to inpatient care units to assist with patient care as needed

Job Requirements

• 2 years of EMT experience required
• Current Wisconsin EMT certification, or Wisconsin Nursing Assistant certification with acute care experience, or Emergency Room Technician experience meeting the stated requirements
• Current BLS certification required at time of hire/start date
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Phlebotomy skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; equivalent experience related to the role considered
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Professional telephone etiquette and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs and assist with rooming patients from triage
• Apply cardiac monitoring, obtain vital signs, and initiate oxygen as delegated
• Provide direct patient care support, including bathing, feeding, ambulation, transfers, and hygiene as delegated
• Document patient care tasks and responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate pertinent patient data clearly and concisely to the RN
• Observe and document patients on close observation or 1:1 status
• Stock supplies and linens to support smooth Emergency Department operations
• Follow hospital and unit policies related to patient care, safety, quality improvement, infection control, emergencies, and EMTALA knowledge
