Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong critical care background and comfort caring for ventilated patients
• Experience in a fast-paced intensive care unit preferred
• Ability to float as needed based on patient care needs
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing clinical situations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient condition closely and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal outcomes
• Manage and operate critical care equipment, including ventilators and IV pumps
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Meditech
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and unit standards of care
• Float as assigned and assist with additional clinical needs as appropriate
