Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Technician (OR Tech)
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare assignment
• Setting: Acute care Operating Room / surgical services
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 8-hour day shift
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call Requirements: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation as needed
• Floating: May float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,720 - $1,840
• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia 25401

Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of OR Technician or surgical technologist experience required
• 2-3 prior travel assignments required
• Ortho experience required
• Experience passing arms in and out for robotics required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• BLS required
• CST preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a high-volume OR environment
• Ability to support a broad range of surgical specialties, especially for evening and night coverage

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, setup, and turnover of operating rooms
• Support surgical teams across a wide variety of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, vascular, trauma, and robotics
• Maintain readiness for emergent, pediatric, and specialty procedures
• Collaborate with circulating staff and surgical teams to promote efficient workflow and patient safety
• Provide assistance with robotics setups, including passing arms in and out
• Follow unit protocols while delivering safe, quality patient care
• Adapt to rotating call requirements and support outpatient surgery when needed
