Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Current California RN license
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced inpatient healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer treatments and medications accurately and safely
• Interpret diagnostic tests and communicate relevant findings to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families to support understanding, recovery, and continuity of care
• Deliver care with respect for age, cultural diversity, and individual patient needs
• Contribute to quality improvement and positive patient outcomes in a Med/Surg nursing role
