Job Details

• Position: Echo Tech / Echocardiography Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
• Setting: Hospital-based cardiac imaging
• Location: Yakima, Washington
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550
• Floating: Between inpatient and outpatient settings, including a nearby clinic
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• On-Call: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 4th weekend, with a 30-minute response time
• EMR: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Any
• Parking: Employee parking available

Job Requirements

• At least 4 years of echocardiography experience in high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare settings
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS (RCDS) or CCI (RCS) certification
• Strong experience with a broad range of echo patients, including CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR, TEE, and pediatric cases
• Pediatric echocardiography experience preferred
• Ability to produce consistently high-quality imaging and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to know when to seek additional support

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic scans for a diverse patient population
• Support diagnostic cardiac imaging for patients with CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR needs, and other cardiac conditions
• Assist with TEE and pediatric echo studies as needed
• Deliver efficient, accurate imaging in a busy hospital environment
• Float between inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings as assigned
• Maintain a professional, collaborative approach while supporting weekend and on-call coverage
