• Schedule: Day and night shifts; every other weekend and holidays as needed

• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Floating: Required to other units as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg Telemetry or a related specialty
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Epic experience required
• Must pass telemetry testing prior to start
• Travel nursing experience preferred or required for submission
• Ability to work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings and changes in condition
• Administer medications and therapies, including insulin protocols and blood product administration as ordered
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and oxygen therapy
• Support patients requiring isolation precautions and infection control measures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, IV teams, and rapid response resources
• Care for patients with general internal medicine, geriatrics, and special pathogen needs as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
• Adapt to a busy, team-oriented unit with a strong focus on education, collaboration, and quality patient care
