• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Weekend nights, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240 - $2,400
• Call: No call required
• Holiday Coverage: Every other major holiday required

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in CT and X-ray required
• At least 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care required
• Emergency Department experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• ARRT certification required
• Virginia state license required
• BLS certification required before direct patient care
• Experience with patient-centered care, communication, and teamwork
• Comfortable working across multiple departments as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays for emergency and outpatient patients as a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
• Support a varied patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Use proper radiation safety practices and patient protection measures at all times
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant clinical history before imaging
• Prepare and assist with contrast administration and venipuncture when needed
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality diagnostic images
• Work independently while coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
• Maintain attention to detail, professionalism, and strong communication in a high-demand emergency imaging setting
• Provide exceptional care during overnight weekend shifts and holiday coverage
