Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,840 - $8,110
• Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 49 weeks
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8 hour days
• Shift Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm weekdays, overnight call 5:00pm - 8:00am, 24-hour weekend call
• Setting: Inpatient and on-call cardiology coverage
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
• Call Requirement: Yes, with a 1:2 to 1:3 call ratio
• Documentation: EPIC, dictation, and voice recognition

Interventional Cardiology Job Requirements

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology
• Completion of an Interventional Cardiology fellowship
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 1 year of Interventional Cardiology experience required
• State licensure preferred for this Wisconsin cardiology job
• Ability to provide inpatient cardiovascular care and procedural support

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and manage related patient care
• Respond to weekday, overnight, and weekend call coverage needs
• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with acute and complex cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, and hospital staff to ensure quality patient care
• Document patient encounters and procedures accurately within the EMR
• Support timely care for urgent and high-risk cardiac cases, including STEMI presentations
