• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred in med/surg, orthopedic, trauma, or related acute care settings
• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale knowledge helpful
• Comfortable working with post-op orthopedic patients and trauma overflow
• Experience with Meditech documentation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to med/surg patients with orthopedic and trauma needs
• Care for post-op knee, hip, and shoulder replacement patients
• Monitor and support trauma patients and occasional neuro overflow cases
• Perform bedside shift report and hourly rounding to support an excellent patient experience
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Adapt to floating within similar med/surg levels of care as needed
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow unit guidelines, including navy scrubs
