Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ADN required
• Experience in nephrology, kidney transplant, renal care, or dialysis preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital-based travel nurse assignment
• Flexibility to float as needed, with agency/contract nurses floating first

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate medical-surgical nursing care to assigned patients
• Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and respond to changing clinical needs
• Support care for transplant nephrology, renal, and kidney transplant patients
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, educators, and the care team to promote efficient patient flow
• Document care accurately in the Meditech electronic health record system
• Participate in a team-focused environment that values collaboration and quality patient care
• Assist with patient admissions and support workflow so bedside nurses can focus on direct care
