• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend; unit interview required
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI certification preferred; candidates may be allowed to start without it and complete training as scheduled
• Experience using EPIC electronic health record (EHR) is strongly preferred
• Ability to complete required onboarding assessments and facility screening requirements
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions and urgent clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient care delivery
• Prioritize care for patients with emergent and high-acuity needs in a fast-paced ER environment
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient safety, quality, and compassionate care
• Work scheduled night shifts and every other weekend as assigned
