• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Schedule Notes: Weekends and holidays as assigned; voluntary on-call available
• Setting: Maternal Newborn / Mother-Baby unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Floating: May float to Labor & Delivery or serve as a sitter task RN to any unit

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced NRP certification
• Strong experience with couplet care and maternal-newborn nursing
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and possible float assignments
• Candidates must be at least 100 miles from the hospital and submit a current driver’s license with the application packet

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to postpartum mother-baby dyads
• Monitor maternal and newborn recovery, assessments, and ongoing nursing needs
• Support couplet care in a Level III Trauma environment
• Maintain safe, efficient patient care while working with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Respond to unit needs, including floating to Labor & Delivery or assisting as a sitter task RN
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver excellent patient-centered outcomes
