Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Job in Fort Worth, TX 76244

Experienced Labor & Delivery RN needed for a 17-week travel nursing assignment in north Fort Worth, Texas. Join a busy women’s services unit in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and provide expert patient care across labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplets in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment.

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule Notes: Weekends and holidays as needed; voluntary on-call available; weekend and holiday rotation
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Unit Details: 14-bed unit with approximately 175 cases per month

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Experience circulating C-sections required
• Advanced NRP certification required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplets preferred
• Must provide a current driver’s license with application materials
• Must live at least 100 miles from the hospital
• Ability to float to Mother/Baby or assist as a sitter task RN when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery
• Monitor and support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Circulate C-sections and assist with operative obstetric procedures
• Care for antepartum, postpartum recovery, and couplet patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established unit protocols
• Adapt quickly to a busy Labor & Delivery unit while delivering compassionate care
• Support floating needs to Mother/Baby or other designated unit assignments as required
