• Orientation: 24 hours
• Facility Size: 77 beds
• Floating: May float to nearby campuses and, when needed, to pediatric or newborn care areas for infants only

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission if applicable
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level III NICU strongly preferred; Level IV NICU experience is a plus
• BLS and NRP required
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a high-acuity neonatal environment
• Willingness to float as needed between sister facilities and assigned units
• References required prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide expert neonatal nursing care for critically ill newborns in a high-acuity NICU setting
• Monitor and manage infants requiring CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, and oscillators
• Administer blood and blood products, medications, and specialized neonatal therapies
• Support infants with central lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries as needed
• Perform patient assessments, document care accurately, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond to changing patient needs with strong clinical judgment and a calm, compassionate approach
• Maintain a safe, efficient workflow while contributing to excellent family-centered care
