Job Details
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Setting: Level I Trauma Center
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Day/evening rotation or straight evenings; weekend and weeknight call required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
- Hours per Week: 36
- Orientation: Onsite orientation included
- Charting System: Epic experience required
Job Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
- General OR and trauma nursing experience required
- Experience in a Level I Trauma setting required
- Epic charting experience required
- Current BLS and CAC certifications required before start
- Comfortable with call coverage, including weeknights and weekends
- First-time travelers accepted
- Two supervisor/manager references required
Responsibilities
- Support a fast-paced OR team in a high-acuity surgical environment
- Provide skilled perioperative care for adult and geriatric patients
- Assist with a wide range of surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and more
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to promote safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain strong attention to detail with Universal Protocol, specimen handling, infection control, and surgical safety practices
- Respond to call coverage as scheduled, including weeknight and weekend needs
- Work effectively with advanced surgical equipment and technology in a team-oriented setting
