Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Setting: Level I Trauma Center
• Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Day/evening rotation or straight evenings; weekend and weeknight call required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: Onsite orientation included
• Charting System: Epic experience required

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• General OR and trauma nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma setting required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS and CAC certifications required before start
• Comfortable with call coverage, including weeknights and weekends
• First-time travelers accepted
• Two supervisor/manager references required

Responsibilities

• Support a fast-paced OR team in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Provide skilled perioperative care for adult and geriatric patients
• Assist with a wide range of surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and more
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain strong attention to detail with Universal Protocol, specimen handling, infection control, and surgical safety practices
• Respond to call coverage as scheduled, including weeknight and weekend needs
• Work effectively with advanced surgical equipment and technology in a team-oriented setting
