• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Medical-Surgical unit with adult and occasional pediatric patients
• Start Date: 10/28/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; every other weekend included
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
• Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont

Job Requirements

• Active Vermont RN license or multi-state RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to care for a diverse patient population in a general med-surg environment
• Flu vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult patients and occasional pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Coordinate comprehensive inpatient med-surg care in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Support patients with medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric needs as assigned
• Collaborate closely with the care team, including nursing leadership and supervisory staff
• Deliver holistic care that supports patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safe, efficient nursing practices
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
