• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,080 - $1,160
• Additional Scheduling Needs: On-call, callback, holidays, and weekends as needed by the unit

Anesthesia Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Tech
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital and surgical environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with anesthesiologists, residents, CRNAs, and technologists
• Experience with anesthesia equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance preferred
• Certification from a nationally recognized anesthesia technology registry preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications, and supplies before patient arrival
• Support clinicians during difficult intubations and central line placement
• Operate the cell-saver machine and assist with advanced surgical cases
• Ensure anesthesia equipment remains clean, functional, and properly maintained
• Perform equipment testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Assist with OR room setup between cases and provide support for non-operating room procedures
• Help train staff and support in-service education efforts
• Provide backup support to the shift supervisor when needed
