Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 1+ year of acute care hospital nursing experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience, including interpretation of telemetry strips and intervals
• Experience managing cardiac drips
• Experience with TR Band preferred
• Ability and willingness to float between multiple hospital units as needed
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and clinical judgment in a fast-paced acute care setting
• 2 years of acute care and telemetry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care in a float pool environment across several hospital units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and accurately interpret telemetry strips
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips according to established protocols and patient needs
• Support care for a varied patient population, including ED border patients and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to maintain safe, efficient patient flow
• Perform telemetry measurements and assessments every 4 hours as required
• Adapt quickly to changing unit assignments and patient acuity levels
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care while maintaining strong clinical standards
