Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
• Location: Pennington, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: Level III NICU with 12 intensive care bassinets and 15 Level II bassinets
• Start Date: 9/29/2026
• Contract Length: 8-week travel contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• EMR: Cerner

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience strongly preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Ability to work night shifts in a neonatal critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and response to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions in accordance with nursing standards
• Support families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Cerner EMR system
• Follow unit protocols, patient safety standards, and infection prevention practices
