Patient Care Technician (CNA) – Travel Hospital Assignment in Chesterfield, MO

Job Details

• Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation / med surg environment
• Location: Chesterfield, MO 63017 (West St. Louis County)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, typically 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $810 - $870
• Patient Population: Adults age 18+ recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic injuries, and other complex conditions
• Charting System: Epic
• Work Environment: Collaborative rehabilitation team with opportunities to support multiple units as needed

Job Requirements

• CNA certification required
• Current Missouri CNA license required
• BLS (CPR) certification required
• At least 2 years of relevant patient care experience preferred
• Experience in rehab, med surg, or a similar inpatient hospital setting strongly preferred
• Ability to float within hospital units as needed
• Comfort working with adult patients in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare environment
• Flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor
• Experience with Epic is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support daily patient comfort, safety, and mobility
• Assist nursing staff with routine care tasks and patient monitoring
• Support rehabilitation-focused care for adults recovering from complex medical conditions
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
• Float within assigned hospital units as needed to support patient care operations
• Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical record
• Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate and dependable support
