Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program within 12 months of service required
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Current nursing student or Paramedic background preferred
• National Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• CPR training required
• Experience with sterile field procedures preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Support providers in an outpatient general surgery and clinical support setting
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures
• Assist with procedure room workflow and maintain a sterile field
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic when applicable
• Provide hands-on patient care support to help the team deliver excellent service
• Help maintain smooth daily operations in a busy outpatient medical office
• Deliver a professional, compassionate experience for every patient
