Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact eligibility
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Previous experience in acute care, ER nursing, or critical care strongly preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation required
• BLS and ACLS required
• CPI or de-escalation training required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity Emergency Department
• Must be comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and adolescent populations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department / Emergency Room setting
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing conditions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Support triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and crisis intervention efforts
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care
• Use critical thinking to care for patients with medical, pediatric, geriatric, and behavioral health needs
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and professional standards at all times
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record and participate in quality improvement initiatives
