Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP)
• STABLE certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to complete general nursing and unit orientation successfully
• COVID-19 vaccination per state mandate

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, individualized nursing care for patients in the OB unit
• Care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills with confidence and accuracy
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and a commitment to patient-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital departments to support quality patient outcomes
• Maintain supplies and equipment as needed for safe and efficient unit operations
• Follow standards of nursing practice, confidentiality, and organizational policies
• Support quality improvement initiatives and promote positive patient outcomes
