Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
• Location: Tucson, AZ 85741
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Schedule Notes: 3 shifts per week; weekend coverage required
• Setting: Float pool environment with opportunities to support multiple departments

Job Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize patient care effectively
• Ability to adapt to a float pool assignment and work collaboratively across acute care units
• Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, timely patient care
• Delegate and supervise care tasks as appropriate based on team skill mix and patient needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold clinical competencies through ongoing learning
• Float between departments as needed to support patient care needs within the unit structure
