  • Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

  • Shift: 12-hour nights
  • Weekly Hours: 36
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 - $1,870

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required
  • PCU experience required
  • BLS certification required prior to first shift
  • ACLS certification required prior to first shift
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic acute care environment

Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Support patient rehabilitation goals and encourage progress with a positive, patient-centered approach
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient education early in the admission process
  • Communicate important patient updates to the care team to promote continuity and safety
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
  • Guide and support ancillary staff through effective delegation and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Participate in ongoing professional growth and unit collaboration
