Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Room or acute care nursing experience required
• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact/multi-state RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Experience caring for adult and pediatric emergency patients preferred
• Ability to manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and Vapotherm equipment
• Experience with critical medications, IV drips, and medication titration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure emergency care environment
• Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements, including background check and drug screen
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent movement

Responsibilities

• Assess patients quickly, identify changes in condition, and prioritize care based on acuity
• Initiate emergency interventions when immediate physician support is not available
• Monitor and operate emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors
• Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory support, and other prescribed treatments
• Document assessments, nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team
• Support safe staffing and patient assignments by matching nursing skills with patient care needs
• Help maintain adequate supplies, equipment readiness, and a safe ER environment
• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with injuries, trauma, and urgent medical conditions
