Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong assessment skills and experience caring for septic patients
• Experience with mechanically ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Comfortable floating to patient care areas when the home unit has low census
• Preferred: CRRT experience and familiarity with Epic electronic health record (EHR)
• Team-oriented, flexible, empathetic, and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a 30-bed adult ICU
• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance use disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric conditions
• Deliver care in a high-acuity setting with common nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3
• Monitor and support mechanically ventilated patients and those with advanced hemodynamic devices
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Participate in orientation, including unit orientation and Epic training if needed
• Adapt to changing patient needs and support other patient care areas as assigned
