• Shift: 3x12, Sunday-Monday-Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,320 - $1,420

• Additional Notes: May require floating within competency, holidays, overtime, and an additional shift during the schedule period based on department needs

Job Requirements

• 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician or Sterile Processing Tech experience required
• CSPDT or CRCST certification required
• No license required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique
• Experience in a busy, high-volume hospital or surgical services environment
• Ability to follow infection control, decontamination, and quality assurance standards
• Flexibility to support changing departmental needs and travel assignment demands

Responsibilities

• Process, prepare, and sterilize multi-specialty and general surgery instruments
• Perform cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and packaging of trays and supplies
• Ensure all instruments and equipment meet strict standards for sterility and safe operating room use
• Maintain adequate levels of instruments, implants, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Support surgical services and other clinical departments with timely sterile equipment
• Monitor equipment condition and identify items needing attention, repair, or replacement
• Maintain accurate quality assurance and infection control documentation
• Provide support to operating room staff and outside vendors as needed
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-organized sterile processing environment
