Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU), step-down, telemetry, or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience supporting hospitalized patients with varying levels of acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to progressive care patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Prioritize care for a small group of patients while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, attentive bedside care
