Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required before the first shift
• ACLS certification required before the first shift
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to guide an individualized plan of care
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care with a focus on patient recovery, education, and discharge readiness
• Provide timely updates for care conferences and maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the charge nurse, attending physician, and care team
• Support and supervise ancillary nursing staff using sound clinical judgment and teamwork
• Promote patient, staff, and environmental safety by following established policies and procedures
• Contribute to a positive unit culture through professionalism, collaboration, and calm leadership
