• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,100
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 1 call shift per week and 1 weekend call shift every 6 weeks
• Weekend Coverage: On-call only
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/21/2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience required
• Recent cardiac surgery experience is a hard-stop requirement
• Washington state license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or ASATT certification preferred
• Must be able to scrub all cardiac procedures
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Must be able to commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays
• At least 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with complex cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgery procedures
• Support cases including CABG, valve repairs, TAVR, VAD, EVAR, TEVAR, thoracic surgery, and other advanced cardiac procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold strict aseptic technique throughout every case
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and case carts for a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient OR workflow
• Adapt quickly to a specialized operating room environment with high standards for quality and precision
• Provide support for adult and pediatric congenital heart cases as needed
• Follow scheduling expectations, call requirements, and compliance guidelines throughout the travel contract
