• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: 3x12s with evening coverage; every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday; call 1x per schedule
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640-$1,760
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of inpatient surgery experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Current NBSTSA certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be competent in at least 5 of the listed surgical service lines
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Ability to support a high-volume, 24/7 operating room environment

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and perioperative teams across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Prepare, organize, and maintain the operating room for safe, efficient procedures
• Support cases in general surgery, gynecology, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatric, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine surgery
• Provide reliable intraoperative support in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Adapt to staffing and coverage needs, including call, weekends, and holiday rotation
• Float to other OR areas or campuses if needed
